*DUE TO CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY THE IMAGE OF IBC INSTALLATION HAS BEEN LOWERED IN RESOLUTION*

The Client

The client manufacturers a range of detergent tablets for clothes and dishwashing machines. Around 100 IBCs are filled with the detergent powder, and these IBCs are then discharged into a tablet press machine.

The Objective

The existing IBC system uses a competitor’s cone valve technology and 12 discharge stations. ISL performed an onsite demonstration with the intention of upgrading their system and then left them to consider. Shortly afterward he explained that he was extending the system and decided to order two ISL “Upgrade” stations. The primary reasons to upgrade the existing system included better product performance and a quicker delivery of4-5 weeks rather than the 26 weeks that the competitor provided.

The Solutions

ISL recommends our standard “Upgrade” station including a vibratory locator frame as this material has some difficult flow characteristics. The standard control panel was modified to include the client’s request for auto/manual operation for the valve and vibration.

Summary

ISL delivered the equipment on time as required. Our standard products are usually available in two to three weeks and because of the streamlined design, we can deliver some custom equipment in less than six weeks.‍
